Brunch at BB Lemon

WHETHER IT'S ST. Patrick's Day, Pi Day or a birthday, Houstonians have plenty of reasons to celebrate. Check out this weekend's lineup!

Immerse Yourself at the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern

Today is the opening day of Time No Longer, Anri Sala's immersive and captivating multimedia art piece in the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. View her film, depicting an old record player floating in space, accompanied by music. Tickets are available for $12 for six different viewing times starting at 10am and going until 6pm.

Catch a Flick on the Lawn

Head out to Market Square Park Friday night for a throwback to the '80s with a viewing of St. Elmo's Fire. Bring blankets and chairs and post up; the screening starts at 7:30pm, and food and drinks are available at Niko Niko's in the park.

Channel the Luck of the Irish

Throw on some green and head to B.B. Lemon for a fun St. Patrick's brunch and crawfish boil on Saturday from 11am-4pm. There will be live music and Irish-inspired food and drink specials. Reservations are recommended, and can be made on OpenTable or over the phone.

Hit a Brewery's Birthday Bash!

Southern Star Brewing Company is turning 13 and everyone's invited to the party! Starting at noon on Saturday there will be beer, food from the Tacos in Low Places food truck and live music by Folk Family Revival, Winston Cook and The Homebrewed Brass Ensemble. There is no cover charge, and the event goes 'til 10pm.

Celebrate Crawfish Season at Goode Co.

Last weekend's Goode Co. crawfish pop-up endures! For anyone who missed out last week, you're in luck: A special while-supplies-last event returns to its Westpark parking lot (between Goode Co. Seafood and Goode Co. Taqueria). Order online for pickup on Saturday or Sunday, or simply show up and roll the dice; the pop-up begins at noon and goes until the goods are sold out. Available items include boiled crawfish with seasoned corn and potatoes (in 2.5, 5 or 10 pounds), pints of campechana, and cocktail kits for margaritas and hurricanes. Advance orders must be placed by Friday at 5pm.

Nerd Out for Pi Day

What better way to celebrate Pi Day than with $3.14 slices of pizza?! Head over to Little Woodrow's in EaDo Sunday to catch this killer deal. Grimaldi's Pizzaeria has carryout specials on Sunday, like an 18-inch pizza, small salad and two fountain drinks for $25. Meanwhile, North Italia has added new pies to its menu in honor of March 14, like the andouille-creole pizza with Vietnamese creole pickles.
