Think tequila-garlic shrimp ($21) made with 1800 Cristalino; tequila -ime chicken tacos ($18) featuring Cuervo Tradicional reposado; and charbroiled beef tenderloin ($59) flambéed with Cazadores reposado tequila. Picos has six tequila flight options — or start the celebration early on July 23 with a Cuervo and Sauza hornitos tequila tasting from 5-9pm.

R24, located on the top floor of the Hilton Americas-Houston, spotlights refreshing, hand-crafted cocktails. Snag sweeping views of Downtown while sipping the Houston Heat Wave made with 1800 silver tequila, pineapple juice, agave, lime juice and cayenne, served in a rocks glass with tajin and a jalapeño garnish ($16).

Eunice, located in the Upper Kirby District, provides a casually sophisticated backdrop to experience a modern Cajun-Creole brasserie-style menu, inspired by flavors of Chef Drake’s childhood. Spice up the occasion with Puro Passion ($14), with reposado tequila, passionfruit, black-pepper syrup and lime.

The still-new picturesque patio bar is celebrating with four different tequila cocktails for $12 each. Experiment with one of the off-menu special concoctions, like the pineapple-guava spicy margarita with pineapple-guava juice and jalapeño; or the tequila-based espresso martini.
