Cali-Cool Brand Pops Up in River Oaks District This Weekend

SPRING HAS SPRUNG, and al fresco dining and shopping is in season — especially at River Oaks District, where this weekend Cali-based lifestyle brand Jenni Kayne will park its vintage Airstream trailer.

Beginning Friday, fashion-forward Houstonians can browse breezy dresses, chunky fisherman sweaters, utilitarian bucket bags, springy slides and mules, and home-décor items like candles and throw blankets. Special promos and events include complimentary floral bouquets from Composto Fiori and an "egg hunt" for special gifts and discounts on Friday; and floral-arrangement demonstrations, again from Composto Fiori, on Saturday at 11am and 4pm.

The 1956 Airstream will be parked through next Wednesday, March 31.

River Oaks District will continue to host other outdoor events, like its farmer's market on the third Saturday of the month, throughout the spring.
