BREWS AND BRUSHES WITH YOUR BOO Join B-52 Brewing on Thursday at 6pm for a colorful night of artistic expression and signature beers. Secure tickets for a painting class with Wine & Design here. Or, if making art isn't quite your speed, hit up the Valentine's Market on Saturday afternoon to buy some. Find meats, treats and last-minute gifts — and get the first taste of the just-released Tart After Dark, B52's cherry-chocolate-almond sour.

STREAM A CONCERT FROM THE COUCH Midtown's Beats and Eats goes virtual this Friday! Stream performances from Mango Punch and DJ Jorge starting at 6:30pm. Since food can't be catered to a virtual event, Midtown has partnered with area restaurants to promote local eats also encourage supporting local restaurants; Oporto is this month's featured eatery. Mouth-watering tapas and live music right from your own couch — what could be better?

BRIGHTEN THE WEEKEND WITH BLOOMS Brighten up any space or anyone's day with flowers this weekend! CityCentre hosts a Freedom Floral pop-up shop from 11am-1pm on Friday. There will be beautiful and unique arrangements at a range of price points, plus tulips by the dozen. Pre-order on Thursday or Friday by emailing chelsea@freedomfloral.com and swing by to pick up your arrangement. And keep an eye out: Freedom Floral will open on Long Point later this year!

CATCH A HOUSTON-CENTRIC FLICK! Curl up with a new action-packed movie, produced and directed by Houstonians, this weekend. Narco Sub is based on a true story about a retired Navy SEAL who was forced to pilot a makeshift submarine from Colombia to Miami after his family is kidnapped by a cartel. The movie was just released on Prime Video for rent or purchase.

WHEN IT OPENED a few months ago, The Woodlands outpost of acclaimed Katy restaurant Phat Eatery was billed as Alex Au-Yeung's dream restaurant. Unfortunately, Au-Yeung never got to see it come to fruition, as he passed away earlier this year. But the James Beared-nominated chef-owner certainly left his mark — and in honor of what would be his 53rd birthday, operating partners Kevin Lee and Marvin He have organized two pop-up tribute dinners.
