This New Med Spa and Plastic Surgery Center Is Truly Cutting-Edge

MEDICAL SPAS HAVE grown immensely popular over recent years, offering a range of services beyond the instant-IG-filter look. High-end centers with a sophisticated aesthetic and advanced technology are all the rage. Acclaimed Nuveau Plastic Surgery + Medical Aesthetics recently relocated to a 5,500-square-foot space on Westheimer, on the cusp of its fifth anniversary.

Award-winning plastic surgeon Edward Lee and his managing partner, Randy Rakes, worked for more than two years on the design, which heavily favors Italian finishes a la CASA Houston.

Lee and Rakes pride themselves on their ability to offer the “proper education” to ensure both male and female clients make “informed decisions” about services and procedures that range from a few hundred dollars to more than $10K — all under one roof.

The state-of-the-art facility houses seven treatment suites servicing clients for various medical aesthetic needs like Botox, Microneedling, VI peels, Halo Laser Resurfacing, Moxi Non-Ablative Laser, Broad Band Light Photofacials, Coolsculpting, Emsculpt and more. The ever-popular hydrafacial is especially enjoyable here.

Nuveau also boasts a Visia Skin Analysis Studio, where patients take a deeper look into their skin health, allowing for necessary treatment options to be explored.

Uniquely, Nuveau has an operating room with official approval from the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF). The organization grants the certification to surgery centers run according to the highest hospital standards and staff highly qualified and trained surgeons.

There are pre-op and post-op suites, providing patients with comfort and ease, and a private entrance and exit permits the utmost discretion from the beginning to the end of the process. “We’re focused on providing our patients and clients with the best possible experience when it comes to enhancements and elevating functionality and appearances,” shares Lee, who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries like facelifts, eyelid surgeries, tummy tucks, liposuction, rhinoplasty and beyond.
