Hot Fitness Trainer Jinkerson's Art Is Also Getting Noticed — and His Stripper Name Is Delicious

FRIENDLY FITNESS TRAINER Jared Jinkerson’s spin classes are in high demand at LifeTime Greenway, where the hottie has gone from teaching one popular class to instructing fulltime. Also a rising-star artist, Jinkerson is lately getting noticed as much for his abstracts as his abs. In our influencer questionnaire, he brushes up on holiday traditions, stripper names and a really good way to get kicked off a movie set!

What accomplishment are you most proud of? My commitment to exercise. I’ve been leading group fitness classes for 13 straight years.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Originally, a baseball player. Then around 15, I wanted to be in the “Industry of Cool.” We’d call it a Creative now.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? Having the best parents.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever given? Hmm, maybe forgiveness. We all make mistakes along the way.

Name-drop time: Who’s the most famous person you’ve ever met (and how did that happen)? I was an extra in the movie Gone Girl. Long story short, [director] David Fincher told me to stop eyeballing the cast. Ben Affleck was overweight and wouldn’t talk to anyone, and Rosemund Pike told me to get out of her chair, which I refused. And I ended up getting kicked off the set. It was a pretty good experience, I’d say.

Best way to warm up on a cold winter’s night? I love to be by myself, but…

Finish this sentence: I’m gonna get me some mistletoe and… Pass out.

Your elf stripper name — of course, that’s a thing, duh — is a beloved childhood toy plus a dessert your grandmother used to make. Go! Game Boy Pound Cake

Where’s the best place to find holiday cheer in Houston? Ice Skating at Discovery Green

Tell us about your closet. Something old you love, and something you hope gets stuffed in you stocking? I have an old t-shirt I painted that I adore. If Santa left me a few jackets, I wouldn’t complain one bit.

Name three things on your bucket list. Is it weird that I have never thought about bucket items?

What’s your most useless talent? I’m pretty decent at Foosball.

If you were arrested without explanation, what would your friends and family think you had done? Driving too fast and using my horn. Maybe at the same time. The horn isn’t illegal, but I just like to use it.

Favorite holiday tradition? My father started collecting coins yearly and wrapping them as a gift. The tradition of guessing the amount of coins collected was always something to look forward to come Christmastime. I believe traditions can help create a healthy family.

Santa already knows, so you might as well tell the truth. Were you naughty or nice this year? I worked my butt off this year, so Santa better be forgiving. What’s the closest thing in life to real magic? Mastery of any skill. I consider some paintings literal magic.

What’s the worst movie you love? Joe Dirt.(Life’s a garden, dig it.)

What would you choose as your last meal? Lemon pound cake.

Is there a charitable cause you support, and why that one? When I’m fortunate enough, I’d like to support Camp Hope. They help veterans with PTSD.

What’s something about you people would find surprising? My family raised angelfish most of my upbringing. I can still smell all those aquariums. My dad named the company Rockin’ Angel Ranch. I thought it was clever.

In five words or less, what’s your advice for living a happy life? One day at a time.

What year was your organization launched? Urban Harvest’s Saturday Farmers Market started in 2004 with just seven vendors, providing an outlet for local farms, community and backyard gardeners to sell fresh produce harvested directly from their soils.
