Miss Kathy's will be serving snowballs, there will be plenty of activities and snacks to entertain the kiddos, and drink specials for the adults. The award-winning concept from Underbelly Hospitality is known for a mouthwatering selection of cast-iron-seared steaks, which will be available along with a few one-day-only specials. Executive Chef Greg Peters’ menu includes starters like stone crab claws and roasted quail stuffed with braised wild boar. Consider Dad-approved entrees like a 14-ounce prime rib sourced from 44 Farms (pho spiced au jus, wilted Swiss chard, fresh grated horseradish), or antelope tenderloin and frites.

All locations of Dish Society as well as sister restaurant Daily Gather will each offer a version of a special burger featuring Astros third baseman Alex Bregman’s winning Breggy Bomb BBQ sauce. Daily Gather’s double Breggy Bomb burger is topped with Swamp Sauce-slathered brisket, bacon sharp Cheddar and crispy onion strings on a potato bun — and served with fries, naturally ($22).

In celebration of the holiday, the restaurant will be serving a special Surf and Turffor $70, featuring an eight-ounce filet and crispy lobster tail with bourbon brown butter. Guests can dig into a Tex-Mex Father’s Day breakfast from 10am-2pm with favorites like Los Tios omelet, stack of pancakes and migas, plus a Michelada on special for $6. Or come for dinner and kick things off with a frozen ’rita.

Both locations will be open for dinner on Father’s Day — or give your wine-loving dad the ultimate gift by reserving a spot for the annual Dads & Cabs wine tasting events, at all steakhouse locations. Expect a lineup of world class cabernets hand-selected by Pappas' team of trained sommeliers. Guests can expect to taste at least 12 expressions of cabernets from around the world. Two locations and two dates, $150 per person: Houston Galleria, June 15, 5:30-7pm and Houston Downtown, June 16, 5:30-7pm.
