LE JARDINIER Who wouldn’t want to be feasting on fresh picks from “the gardener” (aka le jardinier) on Easter Sunday? Enjoy your morning at leisure, because this gorgeous MFAH gem is serving its three-course menu later (1pm-7pm). Anticipate lovely choices including French white asparagus with orange reduction; spring rabbit ragu with tagliatelle; roasted spicy lamb shoulder, and more. Save room for the award-winning desserts! $125 per adult.

Sculpture garden dining at Tonight & Tomorrow

TONIGHT & TOMORROW We can only hope that this glorious weather continues into Easter Sunday. If so, the patio at Tonight & Tomorrow overlooking a beautiful sculpture garden will be a fab place to be. A three-course brunch menu (7am-3pm) includes the likes of risotto du marché with black truffles and seared scallops atop sweet-corn grits. There’s also brunch a la carte, and a separate three-course kids menu. Dinner begins at 5pm!

Brunch offerings at Xochi

XOCHI Chef Hugo Ortega and his team will serve an epic Sunday brunch buffet from 10am-2:30pm this Easter. Expect a colorful array of Mexican favorites, as well as a carving station, new seasonal items, and pastry chef Ruben Ortega’s specialty Easter desserts. $52 per adult, $15 per child.

BRENNAN’S OF HOUSTON Brennan’s offers two immensely popular Easter brunch events. The first, Brunch with the Bunny, falls on Good Friday (4/15). The children’s event includes the chance to take photos with the Easter Bunny, a special brunch menu, a dazzling dessert buffet — and mimosas for adults. And on Easter Sunday, a spring brunch menu is offered for the whole family.

How did you get to where you are today? Growing up I had envisioned myself as a news anchor, living in NY and enthusiastically saying into the camera “Good Morning America!”. To this day, I am still a news/political junkie. My mother owned fur salons so specialty retail, luxury retail was in my blood through the family business. Eventually, mom shuttered the stores and I was recruited to a large specialty retailer. Over the next 30 years, I was in commissioned sales on the sales floor, became a department manager, worked my way up to buyer and store manager. Although I never became a newscaster, I did live in NYC for a few years. But Texas is home and with aging grandparents, I felt the pull to come back to my roots. A headhunter approached me. I never envisioned myself in the high-end appliance market, but there are so many similarities.
